Steve Davis, Ph.D.

Professor Davis has been at the forefront of climate change research and his work has made headlines in The New York Times, NPR, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and others. In a recent study, he measured the movement of pollution from China to the United States and showed how Los Angeles gets an extra day of smog due to emissions by Chinese factories. Dr. Davis is Assistant Professor at UCI's Department of Earth System Science and obtained his Ph.D. from Stanford as well as a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
